In connection with the fire incident onboard the Yantian Express, Voyage 108E, Shipowner, Hapag Lloyd, recently announced the decision to cancel all scheduled US east coasts port calls, including New York, Savannah, Jacksonville, and Norfolk.  Customers, owners and purchasers of affected shipments, who have previously filed customs entries with the US Customs shall immediately proceed to rescind their filings by no later than January 28, 2019.  Expected on January 29, 2019, the Shipowner will be deleting from the US Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) its previously transmitted information related to the subject vessel/voyage.

In the meantime, Shipowner advises that salvage operations remain ongoing, with the next port of call to be determined. Yang Ming appreciates your understanding and will continue to provide details as they develop.
